ESSL's Advisory Panels

The Earth & Sun Systems Laboratory (ESSL) includes four research divisions and one interdisciplinary institute. Each of these entities have separate external advsiory committees that review and advise. The ESSL panel is made up of a combination of division/institute advisory panel members and at large panel members. Below are links to each of the Advisory Panels within ESSL. Each link includes the panel membership, charge, and additional information:

ESSL Advisory Panel

The ESSL panel is made up of a combination of division/institute advisory panel members and at large panel members. The charge of the ESSL Advisory Panel is to provide advice to the NCAR and ESSL Management regarding the role, the organization and the overall scientific directions of ESSL. As ESSL moves forward, it is important for the Panel, for example, to make concrete suggestions on how to best address intellectually challenging integrative research questions.
